Fly away with the winds of history in the Finnish Aviation Museum! The museum’s two hangars are filled with dozens of fascinating aircrafts, representing civilian, hobby and military aviation from various periods.
The exhibition also includes plenty of other aviation paraphernalia, depicting the lives of pilots, passengers – even the engineers. There are engines, gauges, uniforms, and even model airplanes.
The historical atmosphere is palpable in the passenger cabin of the Convair Metropolitan, which operated between the 1950s and 1980s.
In addition to temporary exhibitions, the museum offers archives and the most extensive aviation-related library in Finland. The museum also hosts a café and a museum shop.
