Hop on the news carousel surrounded by caricatures by Kari or identify canards in a game of delicious lies!
The Päivälehti Museum recounts the history of the Helsingin Sanomat newspaper and Finnish journalism in general. Laid-back computer games, nostalgic films clips and huge walls of news lead adults and children into the world of editorial work and printing technology.
Touch screens provide more information on pressing subjects and also allow you to test your skills. Try the mouthy moustache game or find your inner typesetter in the printing house downstairs!
When you’ve had enough of news, take a cinema seat and watch cartoons or flip through the latest issues.
The museum features changing exhibitions, of which those targeted at children are particularly full of action. Also available are guided workshops.
