Founded in 1928, Kunsthalle Helsinki mounts exciting exhibitions of contemporary art, design and architecture in the city’s most beautiful art venue, a gem of 1920s classicism designed by architects Ekelund & Eklund.
Exhibitions in the Kunsthalle showcase both Finnish and international art. There are six to eight major exhibitions annually and a similar number of studio shows. The exhibition programme features events and workshops from singles nights to family days. The Kunsthalle also has a gift shop, Kiosque, and a high-end restaurant Farang.
Kunsthalle Helsinki is maintained by the Kunsthalle Helsinki Foundation.
