Hanko Museum arranges exhibitions that relate to the city and its history. The museum is located in a grey-stone building from 1792, the only building to remain of Hanko fort.

Hanko museum collects artefacts and information about traditions linking to the history of the city, and to current ways of life. The museum was founded in 1909 and today also undertakes active publishing work.
