Play is the name of the game in this museum! In the action-packed exhibition you can climb into a fairy tale castle, slide down a slide or peek into children’s nurseries from the past decades.

The Finnish Toy Museum presents Finnish toys and games from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Here you can see dolls from different eras, admire the classical design of the wooden Jukka toys or marvel steel rockets from when space was conquered or even see UFOs surfacing.

The favourite for many children is the fabulous miniature railway that gets you acquainted with the Löylymäki village and the Lättähattu multiple unit trains. The museum also has information about the history of Finnish toy factories that have by now ceased operations.

The Finnish Toy museum has changing special exhibitions and dramatised tours guided by professionals from the children’s theatre.
