Ekenäs Museum Centre EKTA incorporates a modern exhibition venue with a ticket office and a permanent exhibition, a welcoming café, a museum shop and a space for temporary exhibitions. The Commoner’s House and The Photographer’s Studio, both with interesting historic interiors, are part of the Museum Centre and can also be visited virtually.
The permanent exhibition ”Ekenäs through the ages” gives a comprehensive view of the history of the city and the local area from ancient times to the present day. An additional permanent exhibition ”Helene Schjerfbeck’s life and art”, about the renowned artist who lived in Ekenäs 1925 – 1941, was opened 27.4.2012.
EKTA is located in a beautiful old town setting, in the centre of Ekenäs.

Entrance Fee: Adults 8 €, seniors and students 5 €. Under 18s free.
Groups (min. 10 persons) 5 € / person + guiding 50 € (weekend 70 €).
The fee includes entry to all units within the Museum Centre. Free entry on Tuesdays.
